My Story
A musician who mixes
I play piano and guitar. That’s where this all started — making music at home, obsessing over how records sounded, and wanting more control over my own. Engineering was the natural next step.
Years of listening, experimenting, and studying the records I love taught me that great mixing isn’t about formulas — it’s about taste, restraint, and knowing what a song actually needs. Pop and indie are where I do my best work: music where emotion and space matter as much as technical precision.
Every project gets my full attention. You won’t be passed off to an assistant, and you won’t hear “that’s how it’s always done” from me — because I don’t believe that’s how the best mixes get made.
Philosophy
Serving the song
I don’t believe in a signature sound — I believe in your sound. I approach every mix with curiosity rather than habit, never assuming there’s only one way it’s done.
Great mixing is about empathy. Understanding what a song is trying to say and making every element support that message. Sometimes that means bold moves. Other times, it means knowing when to leave things alone.
Communication comes first. You’ll never feel left in the dark about where your project stands, and revisions are part of getting it right — not a penalty.
